Responsibilities
- Teach proper tajweed of Quran to all students under your class
- Listen to the students on their daily sabaq
- Test all students on their sabqi and manzil
- Ensure students have properly memorized all their parts before continuing memorization of the Quran
- Supervise students during classes and during lunch/recess break
- Attend staff meetings
- Evaluate and discuss students’ progress and concerns with parents and administration
- Maintain appropriate standards of behavior, mutual respect, and safety within the classroom
- Integrate social responsibility and kindness into daily teaching and routines
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
- Hafiz of the Quran
- Above average Islamic knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Schedule
- Mondays – Fridays from 7:30am to 12:30pm
