Darul Islah Expansion Project
Darul Islah undertook an expansion project to expand the current facility to almost twice the size of what it is today. This project will also address the much needed parking facility and enable Darul Islah to separate the educational classrooms from the sanctuary area.

Expansion Update
Following Towship’s approval of its expansion plans and securing of necessary permits, Dar ul Islah started construction in September 2008. The foundation and the first floor slab were constructed by February of 2009.
In the meantime, the adjacent house at 318 Fabry Terrace became available for purchase and Dar ul Islah acquired it in March of 2009. This purchase gave an opportunity to explore the possibilities of redesigning the expansion.
Heritage Architecture of Paramus was selected as the Architect. AWZ Engineering of Monville was selected as the site Engineer.
The application for Site Plan and variances is been filed to the The Township of Teaneck on October 13, 2009. The public Hearing in front of the Zoning Board of Adjustment is schedule for February 4, 2010. Alhamdulillah the Teaneck Zoning Board of Adjustment has approved our application for expansion.
The construction of the revised expansion started in November 2010.
Pile Driving has been completed.
Pile Cap is complete.
Foundation work complete.

New Parking Lot
The new parking lot is located at 326 Hemlock Terrace south at the intersection of Hemlock Terrace and Kilmurray Drive. It was completed in August ’07 at an estimated cost of $130K.
There are 38 parking spots in this parking lot. The lot is lighted with low height Bollard lights as enforced by the township to protect the comfort of the adjoining residential properties.
