ISLAMIC LEARNING FOUNDATION presents a 15 session Quranic Arabic course geared towards those who wish to understand the Qur’an in Arabic.

This course has been taught several times throughout the country and has benefitted hundreds of students. Our philiosophy at ILF is to present material in this most simplified and condensed fashion to our students. Through lectures, workshops, worksheets, homework, exams, and review sessions, this class will build your basic fundamentals in Quranic Arabic. ILF is happy to bring this simple and easy Arabic course to Darul Islah (320 Fabry Terrace) in Teaneck, New Jersey. Beyond the fulfillment of the Muslims’ religious obligations, the following are a few of the other services and programs that the Masjid currently provides:
• Adult and children classes, Quran and Hifz education
• Social services and community affairs, Interfaith participation and community presence
• Social events (Bazaar, summer camp, Tae-kwon-do program)
• Youth activities and Halaqas
• Ramadan and Eid activities, Hajj planning/Referral resources
• Funeral arrangements

These important programs are supported predominately by the personal time and volunteerism of dedicated individuals, and none of these would be available without the presence of the Masjid. Conversely, the Masjid would not have been built and maintained without Allah’s (swt) will and the financial support of generous individuals like you.

With the growing community and membership over the past few years, we had now taken on the task of expanding the masjid given its capacity and functional limitations. This expansion was started in 2008 with a projected total cost of $3.3 MM. This included the building of a new parking lot, purchasing of adjacent property, and well as the expansion of the footprint. With the grace of Allah, we have been able to collect and construct approximately $2.7 MM worth of services and are now very close to completing the project. We now need your help. Our goal today is to have the current expansion phase completed by June 2013, for which we require an immediate financial consideration of $400K. This will allow us to continue with the construction activities and materially complete the building and secure a TCO (Temporary Certificate of Occupation). Our medium term goal is to raise an additional $200K which will allow us to totally complete the project, including both interior and exterior finishes.

Without the continued support of generous donors like you, we are at the risk of further delays in completing this project and putting many of the Masjid’s planned programs as well as the community reputation at risk.
